About Learn Anything
Learn Anything is a course catalogue with an AI tutor built into every lesson. It ships with 57 ready-made courses covering 551 lessons, and you can also have it generate a course on any topic you like.
What is in the catalogue: 25 of the built-in courses are step-by-step how-tos for Fias itself — Email, Calendar, Contact Book, Notes, Todo Lists, Vault Documents, Voice Studio, Image Generator, Image Editor, Multi-AI, Single-AI, Social Media, Document Sign, Fias 360, Polls, Worktop, Travel Planner, Chat, Arche Builder, Arche Store, Guilds, Leads, moving bank data through Fias, finding help, and Learn Anything itself. The rest are general subjects: artificial intelligence, blockchain and crypto, Bitcoin, coding with Claude, prompt engineering, data literacy, web development fundamentals, music theory, how markets work, the printing press, and what the Stoics taught. Everything is organised into 10 subject areas and 60+ topics you can browse, and there is a meaning-based search across the whole catalogue that finds courses by what they cover rather than by exact wording.
How a lesson works: press Start Lesson and the text appears one section at a time. Each section ends in a question, and the next section only unlocks once you answer it correctly, so you cannot skim past the material. Any section can be re-explained — "Dumb it down" gives you a simpler version of that same section and "Go deeper" gives you a more detailed one, both written in advance rather than generated on the spot. Below the lesson there is a tutor you can ask anything about what you are reading, and selecting any word or passage in the text offers to explain it in context. A progress bar tracks how many questions you have answered. Once every section is cleared you can mark the lesson complete, which records your score, and you can leave feedback on the lesson.
What costs credits: reading is free. The 57 built-in courses have their text published with the plugin, so opening and working through them costs nothing at all. Four things do spend credits: generating your own course with Build Your Course; opening a lesson in a course somebody generated, the first time — the text is written then and cached for everyone afterwards; asking the lesson tutor a question or using Explore on selected text; and running a catalogue search, which costs a fraction of a cent to interpret your query.
What is private and what is shared: your enrolments, lesson progress, scores and feedback are yours alone and no one else can see them. Courses and lesson text are shared — a course you generate is published into the common catalogue where every user can find it, so do not put anything personal in a course topic.
If a search finds nothing, you can suggest the topic for the catalogue, which adds it to a queue that is reviewed for future courses.
Working with Fias AI: the assistant can drive the navigation for you — open a course by name, jump to a particular lesson, move to the next lesson, run a search, open a subject area, go back to the home screen, press Start Lesson, and mark a lesson complete once you have answered everything. Two things it deliberately will not do. It will not answer the lesson questions for you, because clearing them is the course. And it will not generate a course on its own: ask for one and it fills in the Build Your Course form and hands it back to you to press Generate, because generating spends your credits. It also cannot see the catalogue, your progress, or the text of the lesson you are reading, so it works from the names of things — tell it the course or lesson you mean and it will find it.
