About Rate Research
Set up your credit union and competitors (typed in or AI-suggested), choose the products you track, and run a refresh. Competitors' auto, personal loan, certificate, deposit special, money market/savings and home equity rates are read by Fias from each institution's own rate page (sites Fias approved, read into a fixed form of numbers and choices — never free text); anything the page did not state is left for review, and your own rates come from your rate sheet. Review flagged figures, paste official rate tables where needed, then publish. The Overview shows where you lead or lag on every product, and What changed summarizes rate moves and shifts in your competitive position since the last update. The report lives in your organization's Fias workspace. Once its owners turn on Rate Research's roles, the platform decides who does what: Admins manage competitors and publish, Analysts run research and review drafts, Viewers read published reports and never see a draft. When a report is published an Admin can email the team from your organization's own address. With Fias AI, paste a list of institutions or their rate page addresses and ask it to add or update them, set a site to paste-only, choose the products tracked, show any screen, or publish or discard the draft; it never runs a refresh (that spends credits) and never sees your figures.
