About Lit Mining
A voxel mining game played in a 30 by 20 by 30 block world that is yours to dig. Click and hold on a block to mine it — harder blocks take longer — and it drops whatever that block type yields: ores, gems and other raw materials that go into your real LitCraft inventory.
Zoom in to go down into the holes you dig: the camera can descend to the floor of a pit, and when you are fully zoomed in the view follows you down as you dig. The chips listing what you have just collected fade a few seconds after your last pickup of each item and come back when you dig more.
How deep you can dig is gated by your Tool Level. Raising it is the main progression in the game and it opens up the lower, richer layers; the same Tool Level is read by the Crafting arche, so a better tool improves what you can do on the bench too.
Land can be reset to regenerate its ores, but it is expensive: it costs 1000 Heptal and resets your Tool Level, so it trades progression for fresh ground.
Fifteen LitLegion tasks run through this game — the largest set in LitCraft. They cover learning to dig, mining your first Red Gem and collecting more of them, finding Iron Ore, mining a Pet Egg, finding a Telepathy Crystal, improving your mining tool, and reaching Tool Level 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 20. Two of them, Get Level 4 Pickaxe and Get Level 3 Red Gem, are made in other LitCraft games but complete here as well, because they check what you own rather than where you got it — so a player who earns the item anywhere is credited on their next mining session.
A task that a dug block completes shows as completed in the Tasks panel the moment the block breaks, before the server has recorded the dig; the server catches up within seconds. If the server does not take the dig, the task goes back to how it was.
Mining a resource submits a reward claim keyed to the resource mined, with payouts configured on the server.
