About Sudoku
Classic Sudoku on the standard nine-by-nine grid. Fill every row, every column and every three-by-three box with the digits 1 to 9, using each exactly once.
Three difficulties are offered - Easy, Medium and Hard - and they differ in how many digits are given at the start. Pencil notes let you write several candidates into a cell before committing to one, and undo steps back through your moves.
A puzzle is timed. Unlike the other LitCraft games, a lower time is the better result here: each difficulty keeps its own best time and only a faster solve replaces it.
You can also drop or paste a PHOTO of a sudoku - from a newspaper, a screenshot, anywhere - and the plugin reads the grid and opens it as a solver board. The solver works a puzzle out the way a person would, with twenty-two named logic techniques you switch on one at a time, from Naked Single up through X-Wing, Simple Colouring and XY-Chain; turn on just the ones you want and it shows you exactly what each of them finds. Hovering a technique shows a worked example of it. A scanned board is a scratch board: it is never saved and earns no reward.
Fias AI can start a puzzle for you, hand the solver a position, run it, and choose which techniques it may use.
Best times are stored on your LitCraft account and shared with the LitCraft native client. Solving a puzzle you were dealt submits a reward claim, with the payout configured on the server.
